Sunday Stash – Japan Edition Part II

After sharing last week the fabric I bought in Tokyo this week I will share the notions and tools I added to my stash.

Above are more additions to my Clover addiction. At the bottom is a stiletto which I have read about and many times thought how handy it would be for me. The idea is to use its tip to ensure fabric goes under the needle accurately thus avoiding injuries and ensuring accuracy. I think this will be useful for me and will report back if it is.

I bought more of those very slender pins that Clover makes that are my favourite pins, and some blades for my chenille cutter (I could not believe the price! They were $4 NZ for two! Last time I bought one here it cost me $16!

And check out those mega wonder clips! Only 8 to a pack but I think they will be pretty handy when making bags and pouches.

Nippori had a wealth of shops selling leather trim and even leather skins in all colours and thicknesses. Here’s a few of the ones I got which I plan to use for basket handles.

And finally lobster claws and YKK zippers – above is a small selection of the ones I bought.

So, short and sweet this week!
