This bundle of deliciousness arrived last week and is the Anna Maria Horner Honor Roll fat quarter bundle that was offered a month ago on Massdrop. I am sure that you will have realised by now that I like AMH just a little, so you will understand that I could NOT resist this offer!

There were 30 FQs in total, with a few useful basics provided in duplicate (see image below of the smaller selection).

I can’t recall the price I paid but it dropped to the lowest it could go. If you don’t know the principle of Massdrop the idea is that a specific item is offered for a limited time with the price per item dropping the more people who sign up. It works a bit like a buyer’s club in that respect. I committed at a particular price point but then more people joined in and the price for all of us reduced. Mass drop clearly works well in the electronics and gizmos market as those products are over represented.  There is a craft section and pretty much every week there is a quilting related item for sale. Previously I have purchased a pack of 50 Clover Wonder Clips for a ridiculously low price like $15, and I almost bought a huge package of batting a few months back. This is my second purchase and I check the emails regularly to see what I might be interested in buying.

At this point in time I have no idea what I am going to do with this bundle other than touch it and admire the colours and designs! I think it will sit neatly behind my sewing machine so that I can gaze admiringly at it whilst chain piecing!
